Six Months After The Storm, The Home Repairs and Home Decor Begin... 

And the organizing gets done as we go...

So, here we are... at the house.  Leaving in a hurry, living in hotels for 6 months, in and out of the house picking up, dropping off... and then all the 'neglect' and abuse to the home before the storm, and now we have to 'rebuild'... not from the ashes, but from 'shambles.'  

From the outside...

And now for the inside... 

This is the living room... and all the stuff we've just kind of 'stuck there' until we could sort through it all and either put it all in it's rightful place, or found or made a rightful place for it. 

 This is my bedroom... with all the clothes we have to sort, wash, dry, fold, put away and hang up... and some other random items we need to reorganize or rehome too.

And here is the bathroom I desperately want to change... the master bathroom.

Brian didn't take the best pic, but it's a very small bathroom, and only has a tiny walk-in shower.  I'd like to change the colors and make a 'Roman tub' so I can take nice, long, hot bubble baths in the privacy of my own bedroom. 

And now... the boys room and the damage they did it! (Not to mention the need to repaint it... when my first was born, it was an 'aquarium theme,' and the colors worked... but now that all the 'decor' is gone, and the wallpaper was ripped off the wall, it just looks garish. 

We actually have a 3rd bedroom and have offered them separate rooms several times over the years, and they've always refused, wanting to stay together, but ... here's the 'damage' they do when they fight...

Right now, we have another family staying with us, so giving my boys separate rooms isn't an option.  

My sanity however, demands I figure something out to give these two boys separate spaces... 

... and since there's no room in the house, perhaps an 'outdoor pallet fort' is called for. 

Maybe even two... and then Mom takes the bedroom they've been sharing and converts into her 'Zen Room'... (where I drink wine and read books.) 

So now our "Honey Do" list is HUGE... and our "Things We Need List" is getting bigger by the moment...

And there are at least 4 'priorities'

The garage door
The fence
Fixing the holes in the ceilings and walls
And creating at least one 'separate space' for my youngest so he and his older brother stop fighting.

And so... it's off to Pinterest I go!
